The Command Center software interface, specially tailored to instantly receive footage from the HomePlug system, is one of the most user-friendly and powerful video surveillance management programs available. Command Center allows users to control resolution, schedules, settings, and configure custom alerts for up to six cameras, and indexes video by month, date, hour, and camera number to make pinpointing exact footage easy. Command Center also features a helpful hard drive monitor that keeps video footage from taking over a computer's memory. When a memory limit is set, Command Center will keep video footage within the allotted bytes - deleting older footage that may take the size over the limit. Video footage is stored in compressed Windows Media Format to ensure that the maximum amount of footage is stored.
Size isn't everything when it comes to quality - even though WiLife cameras take and store footage in Windows Media Format, the image quality outperforms and surpasses that of many other basic IP cameras, even in a compressed format.
