An America West Airlines employee was fired from his job as a Load Planner after circulating explicit and lewd e-mails in violation of the company’s Acceptable Use policy. The man, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, has filed a discrimination lawsuit claiming that the surveillance equipment and reasoning behind his termination were discriminatory, citing the prolific amount of lewd e-mails sent around in his department, originating from him and his co-workers. The man reportedly downloaded the image, a download that was also tracked on his employer’s internet tracking software.
