Future of Security Products
Security products have evolved rapidly along with developing technology, becoming more and more advanced as more technology becomes available. As security products evolve, they become more efficient, able to detect more and more problems and prevent more crime.
Security products have become highly specialized for many fields, and are widespread in everyday applications, including: personal and office computers, personal electronic devices, cars, retail stores, homes, businesses, government offices, art museums, banks, and more. Security products will become more and more specialized to protect their specific interests. This is already starting to happen with advanced security camera technology like facial recognition and intelligent behavior monitoring found in some IP cameras. Cameras with facial recognition and behavior monitoring capabilities are able to do the work of a security guard by recognizing suspicious behavior or unwelcome faces on a security video feed. This is particularly effective technology for public safety, where tracking suspicious behaviour is a difficult and time-consuming task when performed by humans alone.
Computer users have also benefited from advances in computer security products. Anti-virus and Anti-spyware software products have protected personal and corporate computers from hackers, adware, spyware and other internet-based malices. Constantly evolving to protect hardware from new virus and adware developments, computer security software has historically been developed in a game of "catch-up" against newly released viruses and adware. The "criminal" busienss of spyware and computer viruses has grown exponentially over the last several years, making it increasingly difficult to stay on top of computer safety. However, computer giant Microsoft has announced plans to introduce a revolutionary anti-virus software which could change the way that anti-virus softwares are structured, and maybe end the endless game of "tag" between viruses and the defenses against them. |
