HID introduces SmartID access control card readers
With the ability to either work in a brand new access control system or fit in with an already existing one, the new line of HID Smart ID 13.56 MHz contactless readers is setting the gold standard for access control products.
The SmartID contactless reader was specially designed to help solve any type of access control configuration and integration challenge. It's flexible - with an open architecture and the ability to read and exchange data from any MIFARE or MIFARE DESFire card. It's also secure - with encrypted data transmission that is approved for government-level projects. It's also versatile - available either with or without a PIN pad for maximum ease of integration, and can be used with or without a complementary suite of HID access control products, including biometric data readers.
