JVC introduces high-resolution VN-V25U IP network camera
JVC has added a new, high-resolution camera to its line of IP-based video surveillance products. The JVC VN-V25U is a fixed network camera offering full motion, dual stream VGA resolution at frame rates of 30 fps with Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 compression. The video compression conserves bandwidth and allows users to view high-quality video images live, as they happen. Along with streaming real-time images, the camera can be programmed for continuous or alarm-triggered recording.
The JVC VN-V25U network camera is equipped with a variety of sophisticated features, including an integrated Wide-D function that provides the camera with a wide dynamic range for operation in varying light conditions. It also features an Easy Day/Night mode for high-sensitivity performance in low light and dark environments down to 0.04 lux. The VN-V25U supports Power over Ethernet, and is designed with an open architecture so it can integrate with any existing surveillance system.
