D-Link highlights new video surveillance technologies at CES
D-Link has announced that it will be revealing exciting new video surveillance technologies this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Already known for its high tech security cameras and networking products, D-Links' new home security products integrate the company's networking prowess with cutting edge IP surveillance, aiming to bring IP cameras and networking to businesses everywhere.
D-Link's new video recorder technology is the centerpiece of this week's surveillance debuts - a storage device specifically tailored for small and medium sized businesses. This storage device supports up to four IP cameras, and is meant to store footage from these cameras. The interface allows users to set a recording schedule, stream and view their videos online, download and watch footage remotely, and be notified when motion is detected. It also supports audio streaming and is one of the most energy efficient standalone video management devices around.
D-Link's new NAS storage solution is ideal for small and medium sized businesses like convenience stores, delis, small schools, post offices, and even in homes.
