Pelco unveils Camclosure IP
Video security company Pelco recently introduced its new Camclosure IP integrated camera system. The system, built upon an open architecture, can be viewed and operated with a standard web browser, as part of Pelco's Endura system, or through third-party software. Its main selling point is versatility. Users can combine Camclosure IP systems with other network cameras and outside software to build the surveillance solution that best fits their needs.
The system is capable of sending three simultaneous streams for recording, viewing and remote access. It features pixel-based imagers, low-light sensitivity, and Power over Ethernet. Other highlights include an integrated encoder, four camera options, two lens options, and tamper-resistant housing.
