Stanley Works to purchase OSI Security Devices
Last week, Stanley Works announced that it has agreed to purchase wireless access control manufacturer OSI Security Devices. OSI, which is based in Sunnydale, Calif., released its first line of wireless access devices in 2005. The company's most popular product is the Omnilock, dubbed "the world's first battery-operated standalone electro-magnetic lock."
The deal will enable Stanley to offer full mechanical and online security solutions for customers and OEM partners. For OSI, it means access to a broader range of markets and clients.
