ASIS 2007 announcements: Milestone partners up with video analytics firm OPAX
Milestone Systems, a leader in open platform IP video management, recently signed a partner agreement with video analytics developer OPAX, out of Norway. OPAX puts its focus on detection, developing technologies in the area of Video Content Analysis. The company's intrusion detection and perimeter surveillance systems have rated very high in testing, and have been well received by a variety of high-end customers including airports, harbors, police departments, and the oil and gas industry. OPAX specializes in creating scalable intelligent systems for difficult outdoor conditions.
The partnership allows OPAX to integrate with Milestone's open platform management software while developing exciting new innovations in video analytics and intelligent surveillance.
